Comparison I'm wondering the diffrance between pypes pipe bomb and these.. I'm wondering sound note and loudness diffrance. I know they are both straight pipes with no muffles and they probably share te same amount of drone level. And also the fit and how easy to install it is. The pypes have more reviews and have read complains about some fitnent issues. Are these a perfect match with no problem? Thanks

Put this axle back exhaust on my 2013 mustang 5.0 auto and its good at lows drones hard at about 2k rpm in all gear ranges and is very raspy at anything about 3.5k rpm but its worth the money you will spend on it

    Loud, obnoxious and mean.

    September 02, 2012

If you want your pony to turn into a p$@%-off mule then this is the exhaust for you. They are loud. Plain and simple. There is a bit of drone at cruising speed but not bad and certainly not bad at all for the price. If you want quiet, buy a V-6 or a Camry but if you want to be heard, this is it.

    Sounds like an angry God

    November 29, 2012

Wow these pipes are seriously loud. They sound so aggressive people keep telling how mean the car sounds. I work right next to a mustang speed shop and all there cars don't compare to the very aggressive sound from these bad boys. plus is they are so loud i gained gas mileage because you can punch it all the time like i used to don't want to get a ticket for noise LOL. Once you get used to the sound you will never go back to a sissy sounding exhaust lol.

Quality with a low price tag.

    July 25, 2012

I work at a machine shop, so the first thing I did was electro polish the tips and they came out excellent. Removal of the old axlebacks are extremely easy if you loosen the factory clamp and take off the two 15mm bolts holding the hangers to the frame (black plastic piece), and *bam*, they're out. After owning her for ~7 months and all ready getting granny syndrome from so much driving (16k all ready as of yesterday when I installed them.), these made me fall in love with her all over again. I can't keep my foot out of it. I hit the factory governer within 2 hours and every underpass and bridge just turn into a personal challenge to see how much I can make her scream at 7,000 RPM shifts. Excellent sound. Comparing sound quality to cost, they are absolutely worth it.

    rumble to mactch

    December 15, 2014

very quick install and for the price($215) very good deal. I was looking at the borla but am very pleased with these load rumble but fairly decent(quiet) idle. It does have a slight drone at 2k but when you get used to it you adapt and learn to cruise at lower RPM or rumble at higher it is impressive. Turns heads and sounds like a mustang should

Hands down the best $2xx spent on the car so far. For simple intake , deletes and a tune builds for under $1500, completely changed the car. Im in love with it all over again.
