I got rid of the factory steel/rubber ones. So the bushings in the kit replace them with nothing else needed?

Will this fit with the maximum motorsports panhard bar?

  • The Hotchkis upper control arms will fit no problem with the Maximum Motorsports panhard bar.

What material are the bushings? Thank you

  • This control arm uses Polyurethane bushings.

can this also raise or lower the rear of the car change the rear wheel gap

  • No they are mostly used to replace the stock flimsy parts that flex and cause wheel hop at the track, they are also used to correct the rear axle's pinion angle to achieve better traction. If you want to change ride height then either use lowering springs to lower the car, or add a set of adjustable spring perch lower control arms to raise or lower the rear of the car but the best way to do all of this front/back and keep good ride quality is to go with a set of coilovers.

why would u want to have the control arms to be adjustable compaired to nonadjustable?

  • If you lower or raise the rear of your car significantly, you will change the pinion angle of the rear end(the angle that the rear end is in related to the transmission). If the angle is too sever, it may cause vibration, premature wear on the u-joints or worse. By using the adjustable control arms, you can maintain the correct pinion angle to prevent these issues. Also, the geometry of the rear end is critical for correct weight transfer at launch when racing and small adjustments here and there can improve your launch grip (if you know what your doing) and a tenth here and there is a lot to a racer.
