      Description

      Benefits Over Stock. The control arm bushings in the Mustang play a direct role in so many aspects of the vehicle's ride - handling, acceleration, noise, comfort, and vibration. Cornering can cause bushings to bind, and this impairs the handling. The J&M Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arms diminishes wheel hop and improve traction.

      Crafty Construction. The J&M adjustable rear upper control arms have a robust tubular construction and a black powder coated finish. The secret to J&M's reduced wheel hop, superior traction, and enhanced rear straight line grip compared to factory-installed rubber bushings lies in the use of polyurethane bushings. While rubber bushings minimizes suspension bind, they neglect forward and backward support, leading to wheel hop under hard acceleration or braking. Polyurethane bushings resolve this issue.

      Torque Testing. When J&M compared the force required to twist the Street Race Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arms by 5 and 7.5 degrees with a simulated factory control arm mounting, the J&M upper control arm showed 5 times the strength of the stock arm. At 10 degrees rotation, the stock mounting broke, while the J&M arm retained its integrity.

      Easy Installation. No cutting or drilling is required. You will need standard hand tools, as well as a portable jack and at least two jack stands.
