Quality Construction. These Mustang JBA Shorty headers are made to last using 3/8" thick laser-cut flanges, free flowing mandrel-bent 1-1/2" stainless steel tubing, and JBA's Sealing Dome® collectors.

    Sound, with Dual Magnaflow CatBack, was noticeable throatier (even got a second opinion on this). Vibrations at idle felt smoother, and throttle response felt quicker. Installation was easy, and took about a weekend due to cold weather slowing down the process (more slowed down the installer). Several notes though!! 1.) Reinstallation of the EGR was rather difficult, so use anti-seize, makes a the job much easier. Also 1 1/16 crowfoot wrench is the only way to access the EGR by the exhaust manifold. 2.) The 15mm bolt on the Pax side required an overnight soak in WD40 to be removed. 3.) Pax side removal of the catalytic converter from the exhaust manifold requires a rather lengthy set up on running extenders over the catalytic converter to remove the upper bolt. Recommend when installing new headers to install the supplied bolt and nut so that it can be tighten from above, instead of below.4.) When re-installing the oil dipstick, the original bolt is too short when installed with new headers. The hardware kit comes with a bolt that works as a replacement, but its original for the PAX side of the headers. Basically you have two holes which require two of the same bolts, but only one is included. Good news is that this bolt can be obtained easily at a local hardware store. Installation Instructions that are provided are well written and easy to follow. Note: Remember to clean, wash out, and dry the new headers as metal shavings are still present inside of them.

    These headers Are amazing. Great sound. I mix it with the pypes axel back. Made my exuast sound more beefy less high pitch. Allot more torque in lower rpms. Can tell the diffrence in higher rpm. Great buy
