Please review complete instructions prior to installing.

STEP 1: Verify you have all of the following parts included in the kit:

(1) JLT Intake tube with IAT, IAC and PCV grommet & vacuum line fitting, (1) 4.5" Silicone Coupler, (1) 4-4.5” Silicone Reducer, (1) JLT heat shield, (1) Billet MAF Adapter with bolts, (1) MAF gasket, (1) 4x12” Air Filter, (3) #72 Clamps, (1) #64 Clamp, (1) Vacuum Line, and (1) Silicone Spacer (for use on early Lightnings with 80mm MAF only)

STEP 2: Gather all of the following tools needed for the installation:

5/16 Nut Driver, 10mm Open End Wrench, 11mm Open End Wrench, Phillips Head Screwdriver

STEP 3: Remove the factory Air Box Assembly from the throttle body to air box.

STEP 4: Unbolt your Mass Air Flow Sensor from the filter housing, and install the MAF filter adaptor using the supplied MAF gasket and bolts shown below. Do not reuse the screen

BOLTS GO THROUGH MAF AND THREAD INTO ADAPTOR.

STEP 5: Add the coupler, reducer, clamps and MAF to the tube and leave clamps loose for adjustment.

STEP 6: Install heat shield onto the MAF adaptor and add filter. Position it so the MAF is in the stock position and tighten clamp to hold shield tight. Use pressure on the filter to “sandwich” the heat shield in position.

Note: Keep the MAF in it's stock rotation. Meaning, remember where the plug position was stock and return it to the same position.

STEP 7: Tip filter in first and lower down onto throttle body. Tighten clamp at throttle body, make over all adjustments and tighten remaining clamps. FINGER TIGHT ONLY

STEP 8: Connect the IAC, PCV and vacuum lines now. Use a little oil on the grommets to help with the hoses. Use supplied vacuum line.

STEP 9: Remove IAT sensor from the stock tube and install in the grommet in the bottom of the JLT tube and plug it in.

STEP 10: Plug in MAF and you are done.
