Description
Reduce Sludge. In your Mustang's engine, crankcase exhaust is re-circulated back through your PCV system and intake, taking with it large amounts of oil vapors. This JLT Oil Separator kit installs in your PCV line to filter out oil before it can get into your engine's intake - where it doesn't belong - and cause damage.

Premium Quality Kit. This high quality kit includes the JLT Oil Separator, which features billet aluminum construction with a black anodized finish for superior style and durability. The 2 oz. tank base is easily removed for draining during oil changes, and is designed with a o-ring for a leak-free seal. Plus, JLT added a Ford Motorcraft metal mesh PCV pre-filter to prevent any oil from getting back into your intake.

Easy Installation. This complete kit includes a factory PCV line that has already been modified with the necessary fittings and attached to the separator for a true plug-and-play installation.

Application. This JLT Driver Side Oil Separator kit is for use on the 2011 to 2014 GT and Boss Mustangs. Designed for direct installation on the driver's side only.

Technical Note. There is a unique JLT separator kit recommended for 2007-2012 Mustang GT500's - click here.

    driver side oil separator

This isn't a bad review on product quality but more on application. If you run N/A then you do not need this. I have had this in for a few thousand miles and its still bone dry. If you pay attention to the driver side vs passenger side routing you can see why, the passenger side pulls from manifold vacuum while the driver side pulls from before the the throttle body and manifold where almost no vacuum is present (unless you have a dirty air filter) but the I do not regret getting the passenger side separator as that really works. From what I understand is unless you go forced induction, save your money for something else.

    This oil separatoris a must.

This oil separatoris a must to protect your 5.0 from oil slude in your intake in the future. Took 2 minutes to uninstall the old hose and install the JLT separator. For those who have the Steeda CAI like I do its less visible than the passenger side due to the bigger CAI tube.

    Easy Install, high quality product

I purchased the Driver side Oil Separator along with the Passenger side Separator. Took less than 15 minutes to install both. I emptied both after 1500 miles and the Passenger side separator was about 1/3 full while the driver side separator was completely empty. You could probably get away with only getting the passenger side separator. Both JLT separators are of high quality and are very easy to install. This is a must if you care about the long life of your stang.

    great product

I feel the product is not only good looking but works well. It took only a couple of mins to install, but after a week of runnibg the car I could see the Oil that would have gone into my intake manifold.

Awesome! Won't believe how well it works!

I know this review is for the driver's side separator, but I had to send it back due to fitment. I have a 2012 gt with a steeda cia. Now I don't know if it was because of the intake being so big or the seperator just didn't fit. Anyway I also order the passengers side and it fit perfect. I recently drove to Ocean city for the cruise and I have to say this product works exactly as advertised. You won't believe how much oil it prevents from entering rhe intake!

    Don't buy, it serves nothing

I do not recommend this product as it does not catch any oil. Wathever you read on mustang forums, trust me your coyote engine do not need this side. By the time the passenger side was full, the driver side was fully empty.... I would be happy to read a review like this before I buy. However, I recommend the passenger side as it captures a LOT of oil.

Hasn't caught a drop in years

I put this on my GT before the end of 2012 and it hasn't caught a single drop of anything. The passenger side seems to do all of the work. There's nothing wrong with the product itself as far as fit and finish but function just doesn't exist apparently. Go get the passenger side one!
