    Great Brake Cooling Duct Kit!

This is an excellent, easy to install brake cooling duct kit. I put it on my 2013 Boss 302 after seeing it in person at a JLT booth at a Mustang show. The fabric 2.5" ducts are sturdy but much easier to bend and route than the typical 3" silicone hoses on other kits. The hoses are the exact right length and route around the fender liners perfectly. The new backing plates fit great, and the bezels look very nice in the lower grille. No clearance issues anywhere. However, it was a little scary taking a 2.5" hole saw to my Boss! I noticed a difference on my first time out with them at a HPDE. I could feel the brakes were lasting longer before fade set in. A great choice for a brake cooling duct kit, and based on my experience, it was easier to install than the (also very good) Ford Racing kit for 13-14 Mustangs.

    Great value in brake cooling

Nice kit. A bit scary taking a hole saw to the front end, but it turned out fine. My only complaints are as follows: 1. The spots where you put the holes have a lot of stuff right in the area, and the cups angle up in such a way as to make it difficult to hold them in while slipping the hose over them. Just takes some time and cursing, but a little more involving that I had hoped. Also relocated the outside temp probe; it couldn't go back in where was once the hoses were in place. 2. The hose is a PITA to slip over both ends; this is true of all of these brake kits, so I suspect that's just life. 3. On the driver's side, you remove a splash shield and install the hose. Then it says to put the splash shield back. I never could figure out how this was possible. And no biggie, just trim the bottom part of the shield and it's fine, but it seems like an oversight in the instructions. Other than those things, the kit is great. Components and hoses seem to be of good quality, and they even include little nerf-like plugs to block off the ducts for bedding pads or normal road driving where you don't want/need a constant flow of air to the rotors. Brakes held up great at the track last week, so it seems to be doing its job too.
