Congratulations, you have purchased the finest air filter that money can buy. With proper care, this filter can last 1 million miles or more. This filter is a direct replacement for the stock air filter, and no modifications will be required.
Loosen the hose clamp on the intake hose at the engine and the clamp at the airbox. If the vehicle is equipped with a mass-air sensor in the intake hose, the bracket must be removed from the fenderwell. Now remove the hose assembly from the airbox lid and the engine and set it aside. Unclip the airbox lid and remove it from the airbox. Remove the stock filter and place the K&N filter into the airbox base. The filter fits snugly and must be gently pressed into the base so that it lays flat. Be certain that the filter remains seated in the airbox as the lid is slid into the tabs and lowered down. Clip the lid down and re-install the intake hose assembly.
These instructions must be heeded every time the filter is serviced. This filter will not seal in the airbox if the lid is not taken completely out of the way
I'm pretty certain this is the best shopping experience I've ever had. I found what I wanted on AmericanMuscle.com, then did some price shopping and ended up coming back and order from them because they had the lowest price AND free shipping too. I honestly look forward to spending more money with American Muscle. They have customer submitted photos in addition to their great product photography as well as installation guides from users and manufacturers. Their videos are honest and incredibly useful. I can't think of anything else I'd like to see from them. Ryan B
