Description
Quality Construction. The Kooks Axle-Back Exhaust with Black Tips will unleash the potential power of your Mustang, while giving it that classic '60's muscle car sound. This system is constructed from OEM to 3-inch diameter stainless steel tubing for high-strength and corrosion resistance. It comes with 2, high-flow, 3-inch round race mufflers that feature 4-inch black powdercoated T304 stainless steel slash cut exhaust tips. Not only will you sound good as you pass the competition, but look great doing so.
Heightened Performance. The Kooks Axle-Back system is designed to improve your vehicle's exhaust flow, and relieve it of the stock restrictive one. By doing so, you are simultaneously improving its overall power and performance. At the same time, you will get to enjoy a more aggressive exhaust note that is reminiscent of the old-school muscle cars from back in the day.
CARB Compliance. These products are NOT legal for sale, installation, or use on a licensed vehicle in the state of California, and they do NOT meet CARB compliance.
Moderate Install. This system is designed to fit with your Mustang's stock exhaust. Cutting of the factory exhaust is required for installation. Light to moderate mechanical skill is therefore required to perform this install, which is estimated to take around 2 hours in total.
Lifetime Warranty. All Kooks exhaust systems are backed by a limited lifetime warranty that protects against any defects in materials or craftsmanship. Application. The Kooks Axle-Back Exhaust with Black Tips is suitable for use on any 2018-2023 Ford Mustang GT.
Please Note. Kooks includes a bypass for the factory actuator valve that will allow this exhaust system to be used on Active Exhaust equipped vehicles. The exhaust note will not change with the factory settings. The bypass tricks the factory settings into thinking that the active exhaust is functioning properly.
