Removal old exhaust:

1. Put the car in park or first gear for manuals and set the parking break.

2. Raise the car either with the jack stands or the car lift.

3. With the car raised so you can work under it first remove the bolts holding the mufflers to the over axle pipe as seen here.

4. After loosening the clamps with a 13mm socket remove the mufflers from the car.

5. With mufflers removed take the over axle midpipe out using a 15mm socket to loosen the bolts. You do not need to remove them completely.

6. With the old exhaust detached you can now install the new Kooks system.

New exhaust install:

7. Make sure that the exhaust components are for the correct side the pieces are marked R for right (passenger side) or L for left (drivers side).

8. The over axle pipe is separate from the midpipe in this system. Put the midpipe in and tighten the bolts so that they are tight but allowing you to still adjust the pipes.

9. The over the axle pipe will then be attached to the midpipe with the supplied clamps.

10. Put in the mufflers and attach them to the midpipe with the supplied clamps

11. Adjust the exhaust to your liking then tighten up all the bolts and you are done ready to fire up your mustang and listen to it roar
