a shockingly good buy

Have you ever driven on blown shocks? If you’ve gone 50,000 miles or more on your, Tis I a problem you’ll face very soon. Also I just really wanted to get a little more performance out of my car, and improve the ride quality. I had not really heard about this brand of shock but I thought for the price I would give them a shot and see how well they held up and performed. After I installed these shocks I was sold on the quality of the kyb products. They provide better ride quality and a just slightly more aggressive than the stock ones, they are very easy to install and they are a very affordable.
The ride quality of these shocks was good, it is a little rough but that is a given with any sports car. They are said to provide the same ride quality while adding a little more stiffness for better handling on corners. I have found that both of these facts are somewhat true. While I was just tooling around town they handle any bump with ease but it does feel a little rough. But with them being a semi performance shock I figured they would be a little rougher than my stock ones and the handling aspect of these shocks greatly suprissed me. It had minimal body roll, while going into a corner hard and they were very smooth why casually taking the corner. They are not super stiff so the performance aspects is not one you would expect with a koni or ebich shock but they never claimed it would be a very sporty shock So in the end the ride quality was pretty good for an aftermarket shock and performance was a lot better that I expected them to be
One of the main point that I really liked about the is that they were very easy to install and required no Preparation or special tools, just a good set of sockets a couple of wrenches and a flat head screw driver, and maybe and extra set of hands or a cheater bar. It’s basically as easy as popping out the old ones and putting the new ones in. One problem I did have with them is that they did not come with new shock tower bushing but I found out that the bushings are a ford manufactured item, but I still felt like they should have included them. Some of the old bolts might take some finessing and some wd-40 to get out, but once you cross that bridge it should take you no longer than an afternoon to fully install all four of them and to take them out for a test drive.
And in this day and age, probably the most important is the price of them, They Are very affordable for the quality of the product you get. Kyb is known for making quality products at a reasonable price, I got my shocks and struts for one hundred and fifty dollars. So I think for the money you get very good proformance and durability, and with the amount of technology that goes into each of these products you would think it would cost more
To sum it all up there are so many reasons why you should buy the kyb shocks and struts. From their ride comfort to the performance of the shocks. The only flaw to mention is that they did not include the shock tower bushings but you can get those at your local auto parts store. And finally the price of these shocks makes it affordable for anyone to upgrade their suspension and improve your ride control. I would recommend this product to anyone because it is just a fantastic and affordable product. And I believe I will stick to the kyb products for any of my cars suspension up grades
