Black Machined FR500 Wheel & NITTO Tire Kit - 18x9 (94-98 All)

Hey everyone I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and I’m taking a look at our race inspired FR500 wheels for all 94-04 Mustangs. These wheels are inspired by the factory built turnkey racecar the Ford Mustang FR500. Now these cars were built for one sole purpose: to be all out track monsters using beefed up suspension, and a slightly more radical engine. Now the styling of these wheels is drawn from the more aggressive racecar appearance that differentiated these models from their road going counterparts. Now the wheels are available in both staggered and non staggered fitment and with the always cool deep dish feature. Now deep dish refers to the lip around the wheel itself, this means that the face of the rim is set further back from the rim, resulting in a nice thick lip which looks very cool. As I mentioned before you can get the wheels in a staggered fitment which simply means your rear wheels and tires are going to be slightly wider than your fronts giving you that classic muscle car look. That’s exactly what we’ve done on our 2000 V6 behind me, got the black 18x9’s up front, and as you can see we’ve got the black 18x10’s out back, giving us that really tough stance. This will also help our traction as well, thanks to the fact that we get to run a slightly wider rear tire, helping us get that power down to the ground. To give you an idea of what some of the different finishes look like we’ve equipped our 98 GT on the lift there with a set of anthracite silver FR500’s.
