      Heavy-Duty Construction. The Magnaflow Direct-Fit OEM Grade Catted Y-Pipe is designed to meet exact OE specifications for the ultimate fit and quality. The converter body is manufactured from heavy-duty stainless steel that has been seam welded for a strong and tight bond. It features a ribbed body and heat shield that minimize expansion and distortion when the converters heat up. These converters use a honeycomb catalyst and ceramic coating designed for maximum flow and surface area. This specific coating method is strictly controlled to maintain precise specs for the best result.

      Emissions. This Y-pipe is suitable for both gas and diesel applications. It features a federal emissions (EPA) compliant design, which helps to reduce harmful emissions.

      Moderate Installation. This is a bolt-on installation that requires some light to moderate mechanical skill to perform. The direct-fit OEM Y-pipe uses your Mustang's factory hangers. Total installation time is estimated to be around 2 hours.
