Magnaflow Street Catback Exhaust (11-12 GT, GT500)

Hey I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and I’m going to be breaking down Magnaflow’s street catback exhaust system for all 2011 and newer Mustang GTs. Let’s talk about a few main features with this kit. First and most important are the mufflers that give this kit its street name, as you can see this street system uses a traditional chambered muffler, which is great at keeping the noise down, and is a far cry from Magnaflow’s other offering, the competition series, which utilizes a straight through race muffler design. Again those chambered mufflers are going to be the biggest factor in keeping the noise level down, making this one of the quieter exhausts available on the market today. So if upping the volume on your exhaust note is your number 1 priority, you might want to check out Magnaflow’s competition series instead. What you can expect from this system is a very streetable exhaust with a deep tone and practically zero drone at any RPM. The entire kit consists of 100% stainless steel construction, features 3” mandrel bent tubing, along with these chambered mufflers, all exiting out these dual 4” polished tips. Since this kit bolts directly to your factory mid-pipe without modification, getting everything installed is very straightforward and should take you about 2 hours.
