Aggressive Muscle Car Exhaust Note. Now you can give your modern Pony the aggressive exhaust note of a classic muscle car with a MBRP Race Catback Exhaust System that has been specifically tuned to get the optimal sound from your 2005-2010 V8 Mustang.

More Power. MBRP's Race Catback Exhaust delivers the ultimate free flowing exhaust by eliminating power robbing restrictions to put more horsepower and torque where it belongs - at the rear wheels. GT and Bullitt models will see an increase of 3 horsepower and 6 lb/ft of torque at the rear wheels, where the Shelby GT500 will see an impressive increase of 41 horsepower and 25 lb/ft of torque at the rear wheels.

Durable Stainless Steel Construction. Constructed from 3" diameter 409 stainless steel tubing for strength and corrosion resistance, this MBRP Catback exhaust system features two race mufflers that end with 4" polished 304 stainless steel slant cut exhaust tips. As an added bonus the tips are etched with the "MBRP" logo for true custom styling.

Direct Bolt-On Installation. Engineered to be a direct upgrade replacement for your Mustangs factory exhaust, the MBRP Race Catback Exhaust Kit easily bolts up in the stock location with no modifications required.

Application. This MBRP Race Catback Exhaust Kit is specifically designed to fit the 2005-2009 GT, Bullitt and 2007-2010 GT500 Mustangs.

    Just what I needed

    May 04, 2014

When I got my GT500, I was disappointed in how quiet it was. Listened to a lot of exhaust clips and had a very hard time picking. While this cat back did not have a sound clip, the advertised gains were what sold me. Tried to install it in the driveway but without taking apart the whole rear end, I could not get the massive 3" pipe fed through, and ended up taking it to a shop for install. This exhaust seriously woke up my Mustang. It is loud and aggressive so if you want quiet, do not get this exhaust. It can easily set off car alarms but I love how loud it is. I have not put it on a dyno, but I believe the advertised gains as it was quite a difference in performance.

    Sound of the Past

    July 18, 2014

This exhaust, from the moment I heard it took me back to my grandfathers garage, and back to the 90's. I use to listen to him tinker on his original Boss mustang, and I swear the moment I heard the exhaust start up it took me back to that garage. My grandfather has passed but I feel his hand guide mine as I pick car parts, and work on my own mustang. And I know as long as I have my mustang a part of him is with me. The exhaust when it first sounded off after being installed on my 2007 S197 gt I knew my grandfather was pleased, I was pleased, and my Mustang sounded perfect.

better off spending a little more for better product

    May 08, 2014

All bends in pipes are just far enough off that you can't get the tips to line up, it hits the rear if you position it so that the tips are in the center of the cutouts. Other than that it sounds good has nice tone, just wish it would fit right. You would be better off spending a little more on another kit that fits better.

    one of the best

    February 02, 2015

This is one of the better exhaust I have in install in a long time. The fit and finish is can compete with more higher dollar exhaust. But i do recommend if you have access to lift use it but if you use jack stands take off the passenger rear tire give u more room to work and you may need a small pry bar and rubber hammer to get that passenger side pipe on because of the way the diff is set up . But over all it was easy install love the sound it makes and drone is at a minimum
