REMOVING STOCK EXHAUST

Step 1: Jack car up on pinch welds; apply jack stands at each corner

Step 2: Apply bolt remover if rusted. Take a 15 millimeter socket with a pry bar (or ratchet), and loosen the two clamps before the resonator, 2 bolts on each clamp

Step 3: Take a 13 millimeter socket with a ratchet and remove the bolts holding the exhaust hangars in place, starting with the hangars near the rear differential (use the extension to remove the lower bolt on the muffler hangars)

Step 4: After the bolts are removed prepare to remove the exhaust from the mufflers by pulling the system toward the back of the car, before doing so, there is 1 hook on each hangar that needs to be lifted out of where it is resting in. Once the hooks are removed tug the exhaust toward the back of the car and the resonator will slide free and the exhaust will come loose, BE CAUTIOUS WHEN PULLING BECAUSE THE RESONATOR WILLFALL ONTO THE GROUND UNLESS YOU HAVE HELP.

INSTALLING MBRP EXHAUST

Step 5: Remove stock hangars from the stock exhaust and put them on the MBRP exhaust

Step 6: Insert the H pipe into the stock clamps where the resonator was using something to prop up the other end and using a 15 millimeter socket and ratchet tighten the clamps down until its snug.

Step 6: Apply the aftermarket clamps onto the remaining pipes and start maneuvering one side into the H pipe, and put the hangar hooks into place so the mufflers can hang.

Step 7: Once the muffler is hanging, bolt in the hangers with the 13-millimeter sockets and ratchets until snug, and then tighten the clamp connecting the muffler pipe and the H pipe with a 15-millimeter socket until tight. Take this time to align everything up until the consumer is happy, and then tighten down all 13 millimeter hangar bolts and exhaust clamps (DON'T FORGET THE H PIPE IN THE STOCK CLAMPS)-Repeat for the opposite side.

FINAL STEPS

Step 8: Proceed to line up the tips of the exhaust, and then tighten onto the mufflers with an allen key.

Step 9: Overlook clamps, bolts, fitment

Step 10: Jack car up and remove jack stands, then repeat on other side
