Description
Ideal Upgrade Replacement. If you drive your Mustang hard, it's easy to burn out the weak stock factory clutch. Capable of holding up to 350hp McLeod's Street Pro Clutch is the ideal upgrade replacement for daily driven high performance Mustangs that need a good reliable everyday clutch.

Organic Disc. Featuring an organic faced friction disc; this McLeod Street Pro Clutch provides a slightly heavier pedal effort than stock along with good holding capability making it an excellent factory replacement clutch.

Application. This McLeod Street Pro Clutch is designed for the 1986-1995 5.0L, the 1993-1998 SVT Cobra, and the 1996-Early 2001 GT with the T-5, or T-45 manual 10-spline transmission.

Pilot bearing? Does this kit come with the Pilot bearing? And is the throw out Bearing Hydraulic, meaning does it come with the "slave" for it?

  • I purchased this kit. It comes with a typical bearing , throw out bearing, not hydraulic. It does not come with a pilot bearing. Purchase both bearings from FRPP for consistent quality.

    great clutch

    When my clutch went out I was looking for something with a little more bite than factory but still a streetable every day driving clutch read about the McLeod pro street. I love the clutch feels factory not stiff at all. All in all very pleased with my purchase

    AWESOME!

    Im using my 90 5.0 as a drag/sleeper, im building my car thru my build list from American muscle n building a beast but w 60.000 original miles so only Ford racing products n the best for my car

    Clutch

    Installed this along with a fidanza aluminum flywheel, new pilot bearing, McLeod clutch fork and bearing retainer sleeve. Ended up with a super smooth engagement and release! Really happy, no chatter or slipping with mild bolt ons on my 98 cobra. Highly recommend using royal purple synchromesh, really helped with the t-45 notchyness, since your going to be draining the trans anyways.

    I like this clutch

    I bought this clutch because they were out of the Exedy Stage 2 clutch and I'm glad I did. The guy recommended that I buy the Ford Racing Throw-out Bearing instead of using the one that comes with the kit, so I would just say that they should just swap the bearing out of the kit with the Ford Racing one for less hassle for customers. Thanks

    Weekend Fix

    The clutch works great and clutch effort was improved over my previous clutch. There is some shudder from take off but McLeod says it should go away after break in. Besides the shudder during break in, this clutch is perfect for a daily driver.
