Description
The First Drag Tire. The M&H Racemaster Drag Radial was designed using the latest developments in radial tire technology to deliver no-compromise drag performance in a tubeless streetable tire.

Sticky Compound. Designed for maximum dry traction and performance, M&H Racemaster Drag Radials feature a soft sticky race-style compound. Please note that this super soft and flexible compound will wear much more quickly than tread compounds designed for regular street tires.

DOT Approved. The M&H Racemaster Drag Radial is a DOT approved tire that delivers the traction and fast launches you need to lower your elapsed times - while still being able to drive home on the same tires at the end of the day.

Designed For Competition Drag Racing. The M&H Racemaster Drag Radial is designed primarily for competition drag racing, but is also very popular on road courses, track racing, and drifting.

Features:

  • Directional, low-void tread design
  • Soft sticky drag race style compound
  • Large center block for superior dry traction
  • Sidewalls with large side blocks for stability

NOTE: These are DOT street drag radial and racing specific compound and tread tires. These tires are designed to be used on the drive wheels only of your car during the summer and warm temperature months. For track or drag use in colder temperatures, we recommend that they be appropriately "warmed up" before each run. Radials should not be mixed with non-radial tires.

  • Possible but not recommended. Drag radials of all brands are designed with drag performance first and streetability second. So, they are super soft compound to help with traction but wear quickly (Between 5-15k miles depending on driving habits and brand) Also, the sidewalls are much softer to help with traction which can make them feel a little loose in turns. Lastly, drag radials are terrible in cold weather and do not tread water very well. So, they can be quite dangerous in rain and snow.

    Love these drag radials!!!

    December 07, 2011

Funny story, I got these tires with rims I bought a while back. These fit a 17x10.5" rim great!! But the concern was would it fit my 2003 (for this size is really meant for the 05+). Gave it a try and I lucked out, they fit and I get many compliments on how nice and meaty these look on the back of my '03. I opted to utilize these again after burning up my first set (these are awesome for drag racing and burnout contests btw, lol) and that was at time of putting my Borla Stingers on. This is where I hit a hiccup for despite never hitting with my stock catback pipes, it was hitting the Borlas on one side. Used 1" spacers and solved problem for me so I could continue to use these for show at least. I am not suggesting every 99-04 owner do these tires on your New Edge, but if it is a look you really want and gotta have, it can be done.

    Awesome tire

    July 01, 2013

Tire is great for its intended use, and I gave it a 5 overall because I can't factor in wet traction as I do not use it for that purpose. Dry traction is awesome and these tires are very sticky for being DOT approved for street use. Surprised me the first time I did a pull and really makes a difference, I was using 315/35 Sumi's while having better wet traction it's a night and day difference here. Well worth the money.

Hook better than Mickey Thompson ET Street II 295/45/17's

    March 22, 2013

My twin turbo 04 Cobra will fry any tire I put on it, but these M&H 325/45/17's hook substantially better than the Mickey Thompson ET Street II 295/45/17's I was running before. Tire clearance is a bit of an issue, but if you roll the fender lips as much as possible they clear well enough for strait line racing, but they still rub when rounding corners or hitting hard bumps if your suspension hight is too low. So far I've only ran these tires at the strip and on dry roads so I cant comment on wet traction. Overall I am happy with these tires and I will buy them agian, but it would be nice if they weren't so darned expensive.
