Street Comp UHP. The Mickey Thompson Street Comp tire is built especially for ultra high performance applications that demand incredible traction, crisp handling, and high speed cornering ability. You get all these features along with the outstanding styling you would expect from Mickey Thompson.

Superior Wet And Dry Performance. Using a special compound formulated for both dry and wet traction, the Street Comp has a non-directional asymmetrical design for superior summer-oriented performance and features a 300 AA A UTQG rating.

Best Fit Application: 20 x 10 Inch 2005 to 2013+ Wheels

NOTE: These are extreme ultra high performance summer specific compound and tread tires. Use during the summer and warm temperature months will result in far superior traction over “all season” tires. Use during the winter months/cold temperatures drastically reduces traction and exponentially increases stopping distance as the compound becomes less sticky.

Will these 275/35-20 fit 2015 GT with 20" Ford rims? I currently have the stock 265/35-ZR20. I understand its a 10 mm increase in width and want to be certain there aren't any fitment issues. Thank you.

  • I would check the width of your factory wheel first. As long as your factory wheel is at least 9" wide then you will have no problems mounting the Mickey Thompson Street Comp Tire - 275/35-20. The easiest way to check for this size measurement will be to remove the wheel from the car and look at the back of the wheel. It should be engraved in one of the spokes stating either 20x9, 20x8.5, which is stating the diameter of the wheel by the width of the wheel.

Would these fit a 20x8.5 rim?

  • The Mickey Thompson Street Comp Tire - 275/35-20 (05-17 All) will fit very nicely on the 20x8.5" wheel.

Will this tire fit on the front of a 1.5" lowered 2011 mustang gt coupe . Also would it hurt to run a 305 /35 20 on the back even though it is .80 inch taller ?

  • If you are going any bigger than a 255 in the front and a 275 in the rear on a lowered 2011, you the best you can do is start doing some measuring and some math to see if it will fit. 255 for the front and 275 for the rear is the biggest we suggest on a lowered mustang without the need to measure.

Answer This Question

Will these 275/35-20 operate correctly on the front of 2008 GT on 20" Bulitt wheels?

  • The Mickey Thompson Street Comp Tire - 275/35-20 (05-17 All), or any 275 for that matter, would have no issues fitting under the front of a stock 08 GT. However, if the car has any lowering springs, it would be beneficial to measure how much room you have in your wheel well as this may not fit.

Answer This Question

Tires 275/35-20 I presently have 275/40-20's on the rear of my 2005 Mustang GT. How do the 275/35-20's differ and will they fit replacing my 275/40-20's?

  • They will have a shorter sidewall. The first number(275) is the width of the tire in mm. The second number(35) is a ratio to determine sidewall height.

This is some very good rubber. I have put almost a thousand miles on these so far and have driven in all kinds of weather. They are some sticky tires that won't let go of the road. They are a little rougher riding than what was on my stock 18s, but that is to be expected. On wet roads, they are much better than the pzeros, but there is just a touch of slip that can be felt. Overall these are amazing tires. From the side they almost have the appearance of drag radials. You won't be sorry if you go with these.

    Best Tire

For just over 200 dollars a tire, you cannot ask for better performance on the street. So far, they hook up better than anything else I had on the car(Firehawks, Coopers, and Hankooks) and they were cheaper. Even in the wet they dont slip. They also have outperformed on the autocross track for those of us looking for that edge.

    agressive looking tread pattern

These tires will give you a great lifespan, as long as the burnouts are kept to a minimum haha. Their great in the rain, and handle great in the corners.

    Good tire

I bought this tire because of the Mickey Thompson name and could not be happier. This tire is a little hard until it warms up but grips well after warm up and has a very positive feel. The tread appearance is really well too. I would purchase this tire again.

I bought a staggered set of these for my 2013 mustang. When I first put the tires on they were a bit slick compared to the stock tires. This is a summer tire so they preform best in the heat. I live in Arizona so I figured I was safe. Also they were picking up every pebble on the road and flicking them into the wheel well. But after driving it for a week they settled down and now they just grip the road. After about two weeks on the care I got a staple in the sidewall and now I am replacing it. I love the look. The ride is a bit rough and they are a little noisy. Looking forward running them thru thief paces.

    Mickey Thompson Street Comp Tires

Got these tires for my 20x10 AMR's and I love them! There is more confidence when going around corners, sometimes at faster speeds than with regular tires. They hook on take off's and ride as smooth as regular tires. My only complaint is that when it is raining or the roads are wet they can be a little squirrely, but that only adds to the excitement!

One of the best tires I have ever purchased!

When I first bought my 2011 GT, I realized I needed to go to atleast a 10" rear tire. Those 8.5s from factory weren't cutting it. So I picked up some AMR wheels with the Mickey Street Comp tires, initially being a new tire you won't see traction, Id say the first 35 miles were almost like driving on oil roads. I suggest anyone who buys these tires to break them in with a small burnout just something to get the new tire layer off the tread. Once I broke them in, man did I see a difference in performance.. All the wheel slip I had with the 8.5 inch pirellis didn't exist anymore. So I consider these tires to be a safety purchase as well as a performance purchase. Since I have these tires those sharp turns at high speed that are so common where I live in Germany dont phase the live rear axle what-so-ever. I have buddies with modded 2011 subaru sti's that wont dare to take a turn like I will with the confidence the Mickeys have given to me as a driver. Also I wanna say that since I've gotten the tires I've put roughly 11,000 miles on them, in extreme driving conditions since I'm usually on the autobahn showing up the occasional M3, at 160+ mph.. I am not shy when it comes to burnouts either and I'm shocked at how these tires have barely worn, any other tire I've ever owned would have been long gone by now. I am very happy with my purchase and I plan to stay a Mickey Thompson fan for a long time!
