How to Install MMD Rear Diffuser Fins on your Mustang

STEP 1. 

Arrange the Fins from left to right matching the picture above. The (2) on the left are for the driver side of the bumper. The (2) on the right are for the passenger side of the bumper. 

STEP 2. 

Clean the rear bumper of dirt and debris using soap and water, allow the paint to dry completely. Locate and remove the factory push pin. 

STEP 3. 

Wipe mounting location down with the supplied alcohol wipes in a circle at the center of the panel show below, allow the alcohol to haze.

STEP 4.

Remove the tape backing and apply adhesion promoter to the bumper. Allow time for the adhesion promoter to haze. 

STEP 5.

Then using the supplied push pin and mounting hole as a locator, align the Diffuser Fin so it looks straight from behind the vehicle and apply. Apply firm pressure to the Diffuser Fin and from behind the bumper to ensure proper adhesion. 

STEP 6.

To locate the inner Fin, hook the inner Fin to the bottom edge of the bumper, then measure 5" from the center of the outer Fin to the center of the inner Fin. Repeat steps 3 and 4.
