Installation Time

1 hours

Tools Required
  • trim removal tool
  • flat head screwdriver

Installation Instructions for MMD Upper Grille (10-12 Mustang)

Step 1:
Using a trim removal tool or flat head screwdriver, remove the 8 retaining clips from the radiator cover and remove it from the vehicle.

Step 2:
The factory grille is held in place by plastic retaining tabs on the sides and bottom of the grille. Beginning with the sides of the grille where it meets the bumper cover, pull firmly to release the retaining clips. Once the side clips are released, pull the center of the grille out to release the bottom clips and remove it from the vehicle. Note: If you have a GT with fog lights, be sure to unplug the fog light wiring harnesses before removing grille from the vehicle.

Step 3:
Align the side retaining clips and lower locating tabs of the MMD Grille with the slots in the bumper cover as shown.

Step 4:
Once the grille is properly aligned, press down firmly on the sides of the grille to seat the retaining clips in the bumper cover as shown.

Step 5:
Once your new grille is properly installed and secured in the bumper cover, re-install the factory radiator shield removed in Step 1 using the 8 factory clips. The shield goes under your new grille and the 4 front most clips secure the radiator shield to the grille as shown.

This completes the installation of your new MMD Upper Grille.
