Description
Improve Steering. If you're experiencing shaky steering or if your car vibrates or wanders down the road it may be time to replace those old worn out tie rods. Installing new Moog outer tie rods will greatly improve your Mustangs steering and ride quality.

Superior Construction. Moog tie rod housings are forged and then heat-treated to obtain the most desirable grain structure for unequaled strength and durability. Featuring a patented cover-plate design that sandwiches the full-ball stud between the upper and lower bearings to eliminate axial clearance “lash”, this design consistently produces just the right amount of preload, providing proper steering effort over the life of the part.

Greaseable. The Moog tie rod seals are made from a premium polychloroprene compound that can easily withstand dirt, abrasion, and temperature extremes. These seals also feature a grease relief valve so that debris can easily be flushed out when serviced to help prevent contamination for a longer life.

Application. This Moog Outer Tie Rod End is designed to be a direct fit replacement for the 1994 to 2004 Mustangs including V6, GT, Bullitt, Mach 1 and SVT Cobra models. Sold individually.

Fitment: 1994 1995 1996 1997 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 Details

    Patience is Key.

Excellent product, and a huge improvement over OEM. I installed these myself, and it's a pretty straightforward installation, however it's very easy to throw of your front-end alignment, just by the nature of the installation. The retaining nut is a bit thicker than the OEM one, so it cambered my front end outwards. It wouldn't hurt to have your alignment checked after installing these, or just have a shop install them outright. But overall, I am very pleased with this product.

Perfect replacement and better than OEM

The part fit perfectly, was almost the exact same length as the OEM, so if you're careful you can replace the ends and escape without getting realigned. Even better than the OEM end since it comes with a zerk fitting on the top to allow for re-greasing.
