How to Install a Moroso Aluminum Coolant Expansion Tank on your 2005-2010 Mustang

Installation Instructions:

1. Drain fluid from the stock coolant tank. This can be accomplished with a Turkey Baster.

2. Remove two bolts on top of coolant tank, an 8MM wrench/socket can be used to remove the Bolts.

NOTE Have a small container to catch any fluid from coolant tank lines.

3. Disconnect top line from coolant tank. This can be accomplished using the Slip-joint pliers.

NOTE You may need to use the Flathead Screwdriver to loosen the line from the Tank.

4. Disconnect bottom line from coolant tank. This can be accomplished using the Slip-joint pliers.

NOTE You may need to use the Flathead Screwdriver to loosen the line from the Tank.

5. Remove stock coolant tank.

6. Connect bottom line on new Aluminum Coolant Expansion Tank.

7. Connect top line on new Aluminum Coolant Expansion Tank.

8. Install two bolts on top of new Aluminum Coolant Expansion Tank. Tighten using 8MM wrench/socket.

9. Fill new Aluminum Coolant Expansion Tank with coolant / antifreeze.

10. Install stock cap on new Aluminum Coolant Expansion Tank.

11. Start the engine. Make sure the new Tank and lines are not leaking.
