Stay Secure. Unlike modern seat belts, which are designed to stay loose during normal driving, the Center of Gravity Lock (CG for short) lets your OEM belt work more like the old lap seat belts of the 60's and 70's, so you can adjust how tight or loose the belt will stay across your lap to fit your driving style.

Increased Holding Power. The Center of Gravity Lock increases your Mustang's stock OEM seat belt with up to 80% of the holding power of a multi-point race harness.

Benefits. The CG Lock will keep you securely behind the wheel of your Mustang even during the most aggressive driving, allowing you to stay in complete control.

Easy Installation. The CG Lock installs simply and easily right over your existing seatbelt harness in minutes using an allen key.

Application. The Center of Gravity Lock Lap Belt will fit all Mustangs from 1979 to 2012.

    Could be better

Had the product for about a month before it broke. The spring for the tension release lever and the said lever just popped off one day. Have not found the spring. And just the other day, the whole assembly just came off the end of the buckle while driving.

When it works the product is great. I had two, both broke within one day....I am done with it! Don't let the release lever snap back more than a few times or the whole thing comes unglued. They need to redesign and push out an improved product, until then, don't waste your money.

I dont know what happened to these things. I know several guys who bought them when they first came out and had them for years no problem. Now they fall apart constantly.Mine had the same failure that pretty much everyone is having, the arm just fell off and the spring disappeared. The problem is the arm is just pressed onto the roll pin, with nothing to keep it there. Its an awesome concept, and when it is still in one piece, it works incredibly well. Better than you would expect. But they just dont seem to hold up any more.
