MMD Mustang Quarter Window Louvers - Pre-painted (05-14)

I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com and I’m taking a look at a couple of different quarter window louver options for the 2005 and up Mustang. Window louvers have been finding their way onto Mustangs ever since the late 60’s and still look just as good on today’s Mustangs as they did on the classics back then. The 3 options that I have with me here today are the unpainted option, a pre painted black option shown here, and finally our pre painted option shown on our ’07 with the torch red. All these louvers are constructed from ultra durable ABS plastic and can easily withstand the stresses of your everyday driving. You’ll be happy to know whatever option you decide to go with, they all install in about 30 minutes without the use of messy bondo or drilling. First you want to prep the area on your car with the supplied alcohol wipes, after that grab that 3M adhesion promoter and prep the area on the louver itself where all that 3M tape is going to go, this is going to be very important to ensure a nice tight bond between the 3M tape itself and the actual louver. Once the adhesion promoter is on, go ahead and peel the packing off the 3M tape, and apply it to all the edges of the louver, adhere it to your car and that’s it.
