Side Scoops - Unpainted (10-14 All)

Hey, I’m Mike Wilson with AmericanMuscle.com, and I’m going to show you how to install these pre-painted lower side scoops for 2010 and up Mustangs. Included in the box with your side scoops: the alcohol prep pads, the honeycomb inserts, and the installation instructions. The first step is to take the alcohol prep pad, and wipe down the surface of the car where the side scoop will be placed. Now that the surface of the car is clean, we’ll prep the side scoop. We’ll start with the honey comb inserts, take the insert and remove the backing of the 3M adhesive tape, then place the insert into the open section of the scoop. Once it’s in place, give it a firm push to make sure the tape on the insert bonds to the scoop. Next, peel the backing off the 3M adhesive tape, on the back of the side scoop. Now, carefully place the side scoop on the side of the car, making sure that the top edge of the scoop is aligned with the main body line of the car. Once the scoop is properly aligned, press down firmly so the adhesive tape makes a firm bond to the car. Once your first scoop is securely in place, move on to the other side and repeat the steps. And with that, the install is finished, and these pre-painted louver side scoops add a great aggressive look to your Mustang.
