Fitment I was wondering would this O2 sensor fit an aftermarket exhaust with an extension? How would it hold up to the aftermarket air flow?

  • This works perfect with both OEM and aftermarket installations. They hold up perfectly to increased airflow and are a breeze to install...the hard part is getting your old o2 sensors out.

Any use installing on a 2013? Would I get better fuel economy if I switch to these sensors from stock? Also, I saw that some ppl are upgrading the sensors when they get aftermarket exhaust systems. Is this necessary?

mrj567

  • If your car had low mileage on it, it's unlikely you'll notice a difference, however running high flow cats on my o12' the sensors were already going bad at 50k mileage, which is why I opted to pay the holiday sale price of $100 per sensor, rather then pay $180 at local parts store for motor craft. My check engine light used to flicker, not it's off. I do allot of city driving so it's hard to tell mileage improvements but I'd say I go about 20 more miles on a tank. City driving only.

    O2 sensor replacement

I had installed LT headers and a Catted x from bbk but my oem sensor could not read to new set up, in which was making my car run lean. I replaced my drivers side sensor and fixed the problem. This ntk is much cheaper than ford oem install was easy!

    Best price available!!

One of my O2 sensor went bad on my 2011 mustang. Not usually an expensive ordeal other than the fact local parts stores do not stock nor seem to have accessibility to newer model parts. After much shopping online, American muscle has the lowest price available. Even lower than the sketchy ones on ebay that illogically fit every year, make, and model, yet claim it has easy installation but don't mention a welding torch or hammer. Very easy to repair. American muscle even recommended swapping O2 sensors from left to right and seeing if the code shows.

Fouled out 1 of my o2 sensors when changing to a bbk hi flo x pipe. After searching all different auto part stores am.com had the best price and even 1 day delivery was only $8!!! Installed and no more CEL.
