Prothane Transmission Mount - T-56 Conversion (79-98 V8)

Designed For T-56 Swap. Swapping out the stock T-45 or TR3650 5-speed transmission in your GT in favor of a T-56 6-speed is a great idea, but your going to need a number of modifications including a new Transmission Mount Bushing to get it done. This Prothane Transmission Mount Bushing was specifically designed just for the T-56 swap.

Reduce Vibration. OEM rubber transmission mount bushings deteriorate over time causing excessive engine and drive line vibration, but Prothane Transmission Mounts use a polyurethane bushing to effectively reduce vibration, and will last years longer than stock rubber.

Quality Construction. Crafted from polyurethane and steel this Mustang Transmission Mount is much more durable than than the stock rubber mount to provide years of trouble free driving.

Application. This Prothane Transmission Mount is specifically designed for use on 1979-1998 V8 Mustangs that are converting over to a six speed T-56 manual transmission only. Does not fit with five speed manual transmissions.
