What, if any upgrades would I need if puting this on my car? such as fuel, valve train, or even engine upgrades, would you need to replace anything with putting the supercharger on a v6 mustang

  • The kit is 100% complete, and you should not need to alter anything on your car. Supercharger systems are sold based on a stock engine, so if you have any other performance upgrades such as headers, throttle body etc you would need to either remove them or have the engine dyno tuned by a professional before driving it with a blower. One other consideration will be mileage on your vehicle...if you have 150-200k miles on it, you might want to consider either a rebuild or a crate motor before installing a blower.

  • Most superchargers do NOT work from the manufacturer with mods beyond stock, However, this does not mean that the mods aren't supported, you just need to find a ProCharger tuner that knows what they are doing. As far as throwing the ProCharger on and expecting it to work, no, I wouldn't do that, But, with the proper accessories and a tune from someone that knows what they're doing, GT500 power levels are easily obtainable.
