Description
Smooth-Flowing Power. Upgrade your Mustang with the Pypes 1-7/8 inch Long Tube Off-Road Factory Connect Headers, and get the power boosts you want. These long tube headers create a smoother flow of exhaust gases by using an innovative “step” design. This design uses progressively larger diameter tubes along its length enabling exhaust gases to leave your coyote engine smoother and faster. This will greatly reducing back-pressure, and increasing horsepower and torque.
Deep and Strong Exhaust Roar. The Pypes 1-7/8 inch Long Tube Off-Road Factory Connect Headers not only transforms your Mustang’s performance numbers, but its exhaust sound as well. These headers produces an exhaust sound that starts off as a rumble and builds up into a deep and strong roar as you hit the throttle. Now your Mustang sounds as mean as it looks.
Retains Factory Cats. The Pypes 1-7/8 inch Long Tube Off-Road Factory Connect Headers is designed to retain your Mustang’s stock catalytic converter. This does not hamper performance, since the design of the headers maximizes exhaust gas escape.
Rugged Build Quality. The Pypes 1-7/8 inch Long Tube Off-Road Factory Connect Headers are crafted from rugged 304 stainless steel for corrosion-resistance and strength. The pipes are fully mandrel-bent greatly minimizing areas of turbulence, as well as increasing rigidity. The headers feature a “step” design that starts out with a 1-3/4 inch diameter pipe, stepping into a larger 1-7/8 inch diameter, and finally ending with a 3-inch wide collector. All the joints are TIG-welded for strength.
ECU Re-Tuning Advised. While installing the Pypes 1-7/8 inch Long Tube Off-Road Factory Connect Headers does produces higher power and torque independent of an engine tune, it is advised that you get an ECU re-tune. This is to ensure that your engine and new header system perform as optimally as possible.
Not CARB Certified. The Pypes 1-7/8 inch Long Tube Off-Road Factory Connect Headers are not CARB-certified, making these headers illegal to use in California or other states that have adopted CARB certification. Please check your local laws for permitted applications.
