Very noisy

Not really good for street use. Very loud and very rough ride. Does a bit better at the track, but honestly not worth all the money.

Do you remove your factory springs? The description says "Upgrade your Mustangs old stock factory struts and springs to a QA1 Adjustable Front Coil-Over to greatly improve your handling performance." This implies that the springs are no longer needed, is this correct?

  • According to your application, V6 or V8, the shocks will adjust to varying heights. I have not used these shocks, but according to the QA1 motorsports sites, all of their shocks are adjustable to 18 different settings. Many of their shocks are used in round track racing applications. Since these are designed for street applications, your ride height will not be as radical as for racing. I am guessing, but believe you could adjust from 1" to 3", again according to the application. Be sure to check about what other things that might be needed to use these. Many people replace the A arm with tubular, plus you will probably need Camber plates to help in aligning the front end. Hope that helps!
