About Race Ramps

Race Ramps

Working on your Mustang without a lift is a challenge whether you’re on gravel, pavement, or your backyard. A set of Race Ramps will not only get you the clearance you need to access your Mustang’s underside, there are also storage and show versions under the same brand. The service ramps give you 8 inches of wiggle room, and the sloped segments are removable to maximize your workspace. Your Mustang’s lowered you say? Fear not. Race Ramps makes a low profile set, so you can lift your Mustang high enough to get a low profile jack under it. The storage version will prevent flat spots in your ties. Save yourself the cash and put your project on a set of flat stoppers. The display ramps are perfect for when your ‘Stang is show worthy, and when you want to bring some extra attention to it. Something else to consider is a set of wheel chocks if a jack is your primary way of lifting your Mustang.

    Good ramps, a little pricey

The good: they're solid, yet lightweight. They two peice design is great for getting extra space once the car is parked in them. The bad: Unfortunately, they are still too steep for my lowered GT with Roush Stage 3 front fascia. I got around this with a couple of 2x4s placed at the bottom though. The price is also a little steep, but its understandable for the material. Overall, they do their job so far. I'll report back later after I see how they hold up over time and use.

    Ramp best on Mart

These ramps work well on Mustang. They're light and easy to move and store but expensive. Worth it? Yes!

    Race Ramps

Very nice, lightweight and very easy and quick to use. So much more convenient than using floor jack's and Jack stands.

    Race ramps review

Two piece design is brilliant for working under the car. Lightweight and strong. However if you have a lowered car, you may want to go with even longer ramps. My Mustang just barely touches the front spoiler/ splitter the ramp on entry but gets up just fine with no damage. I believe that once I lower it, it may require the longer ramps. However, Overall great product.

    Race Ramps

I was looking for a way to get a visual under my mustang. Last year I had jumped a curb that never was a problem until I had lowered the car two years earlier. (Who knew a drop of about 1.25" inches would make such a difference :) To date all my mods have been done by the local garage and I asked them to take a look at the damage I had done to the undercarriage. They took a look and said it was minor, however it will rust and they were unable to do a quick repair and paint fix on it (meaning they had no time to clean it properly). So when I saw the ramps available from American Muscle I figured I would do it myself as I have done the same with my winter beater. The ramps work well. I will post pictures too. Easy to drive up and the lip at the end ensures you do not run over the ramp (as long as you do not force your 300 HP car). It would be nice if the set also came with blocks for the tires not on the ramps to ensure the car is securely in place. I went to the local store to get a pair.
