RAM Powergrip Clutch (86-Mid 01 GT and 93-98 Cobra)

The RAM Powergrip Clutch kits are the performance clutch for your street/strip Mustang. The Powergrip Mustang Clutch is designed for the 1996-2000 GT, 1993-1998 Cobra, and 1986-1995 5.0L Mustangs with the T-5 or T-45 transmission. As your Mustangs engine power and torque levels increase, Powergrip Clutch kits meet the challenge. RAM Powergrip Mustang Clutch kits utilizes a unique blend of 900 and 300 series friction materials and increased clamp loads to give you the holding power needed for aggressive street driving, occasional drag strip use, and the all around performance you expect from your clutch system. Some chatter will occur on takeoff. Powergrip clutches are great for modified street/strip Mustangs. And if you are replacing your clutch it is also a good idea to replace your Clutch Cable and Quadrant at the same time to prolong the life of your new Clutch.
