RAM Clutches Powergrip Iron/Organic Clutch Kit; 10-Spline (05-10 Mustang GT)

Street or Strip. Powergrip clutches are great for modified street/strip Mustangs. And if you are replacing your clutch it is also a good idea to replace or resurface your flywheel at the same time to prolong the life of your new Clutch.

Superior Design. RAM Powergrip Mustang Clutch kits utilizes a unique blend of 900 and 300 series friction materials and increased clamp loads to give you the holding power needed for aggressive street driving, occasional drag strip use, and the all around performance you expect from your clutch system.

Application. The RAM Powergrip Clutch kits are the performance clutch for your street/strip Mustang. The Powergrip Mustang Clutch is designed for the 2005-2010 GT with the TR-3650 transmission. Some chatter will occur on takeoff.

It's recommended that you add an SR Performance Braided Stainless Steel Hydraulic Clutch Line during your new clutch install. Stock plastic clutch lines can fail during aggressive driving. Stainless steel clutch lines help prevent gear lockout and provide superior clutch pedal feel, even under the toughest conditions.

Technical Note. The 2005+ Mustang uses a concentric slave cylinder instead of a conventional throwout bearing. Therefore this clutch kit will not include a throwout bearing. It is recommended to install a new flywheel with this replacement clutch for the 2005+ Mustang GT's.
