Hey everybody, I'm Justin with AmericanMuscle.com. I'm here with my complete breakdown and overview of the Raxiom multimedia navigation system available for all 2005 to 2009 Mustangs. Raxiom is without a doubt the industry leader in producing lighting and technology for your Mustang, thanks to innovative products like their Gen 5 tail lights and now cutting edge navigation systems available for your S197. Now, if you'd like to stay up to date with more products from Raxiom and other brands, well, then you have to subscribe to our YouTube channel for the best Mustang specific content on the web, American Muscle Videos. This system from Raxiom is the answer to all '05 to '09 owners out there who have been looking for an affordable factory style navigation and multimedia center that packs all the modern amenities such as the Bluetooth hands free phone capability, HD and satellite radio capabilities, DVD player, and of course that included backup camera. Before we really get into it, I do want to mention that the Raxiom navigation here does give off a very factory like appearance, meaning it's going to blend seamlessly with your S197's interior. Now, because of that, it does still retain the factory AC controls down low, and it's also going to put the screen up high, just making operation and navigation that much easier while in use.So, now let's get into some of the basics you can expect with this system. The Raxiom navigation is based upon the six and a half inch full color high resolution touchscreen LCD display. It does feature turn by turn navigation software. It does have Bluetooth capabilities allowing you to listen to your phone calls and stream wireless music through your phone. It does play your CDs and DVDs. It is HD and satellite radio capable, and it does have Pandora interface. Now, it does still retain the use of your factory steering wheel controls if your car's equipped, and it does include that full color backup camera I talked about earlier. It is also going to include all the dash bezels and surrounds needed to get it installed, again giving you that factory like appearance. That Bluetooth compatibility will allow you to pair either your iPhone or Android device wirelessly to the Raxiom navigation, giving you total hands free control of your cell phone which, as by now you guys probably know, is pretty much the law in every county or state. Again, the Bluetooth compatibility will also give you the ability to wirelessly play the music stored on your phone through your car speakers. Now, let's touch on the navigation software a little bit, because I really do think it helps to make this unit much more effective and easy to use. The iGO primo turn by turn navigation software, for being loaded with so many bells and whistles, is extremely easy to use and is fully customizable. In fact, the total display is customizable, thanks to the different backgrounds, map colors, and even navigation voices available through the touchscreen menu here. Now again, guys, this is just the tip of the iceberg as far as features are concerned. And I don't want to bore you to death talking about every single one of them here. If you do want to read up more about this unit, then I strongly suggest you head back to the product page at AmericanMuscle.com, if you're not already there. One of the best features with the Raxiom navigation has to be the ease of install. Some minor disassebly of your radio area is pretty much a given, but other than that, everything can be accomplished with some basic hand tools, and is completely plug and play. It should take you roughly two hours from start to finish. I will say a big chunk of that time will be spent either running the backup camera, which I suggest going under the carpet using the door sill plates, and of course you do have to run the GPS antenna, which again, I suggest for a clean install, just going up the A pillar and mounting it somewhere to the windshield. Now again, guys, if you do have any questions about this particular unit, or about the install then you should know by now, you can reach out to a Mustang expert anytime either by phone or by email. So, if you're one of the many '05 to '09 owners out there who just so happened to miss out on the factory navigation option and are looking for an affordable, yet attractive solution, then you have to check out the Raxiom navigation and multimedia system available right here at AmericanMuscle.com.
