Description
Deletes Factory Prop Rod. It is hard to believe that Ford still uses an old style prop rod to hold up the hood of their all new S550 Mustang. But now you can ditch that prop rod and add a clean appearance and modern convenience to your 2015-2023 Pony by installing a RedLine Tuning QuickLIFT PLUS Hood System.
Slow Release System. RedLine Tuning QuickLIFT PLUS Hood Struts use powerful custom-valved gas springs that feature a progressive release system. In the final few inches of operation the struts slow the rate of extension allowing for a smooth, fluid lifting process.
Complete Kit. The QuickLIFT PLUS system includes two black e-coated progressive-rate gas springs that will lift and hold your Mustangs hood securely in place. The kit also includes black powder-coated brackets with ball-stud end fittings and the necessary mounting hardware required for installation.
Straight Forward Installation. The QuickLIFT PLUS System installs utilizing pre-existing holes in the top of the fenders and on the underside of the stock hood, so no drilling into metal is required. However you will need to drill a hole into the plastic battery cover to access one of the holes on the fender. A template and a stepped drill bit is included for your convenience.
4-Year Limited Warranty. To ensure the highest quality of their materials and craftsmanship, RedLine Tuning backs their QuickLIFT PLUS Hood Struts with a 4-Year Limited Warranty. Some exclusions may apply, please see manufacturer's warranty for details.
