How To Install a Roush Center Console Button on your 2010-2014 Mustang

1. Safety first! Make sure vehicle is turned off and vehicle is safely parked. Locate factory center console button. 

2. Push button to open center console. Three (3) screws located underneath push button mechanism will have to be removed. Proceed to remove the first screw located at the top left corner using Philips screw driver.

3. Remove the second screw found right under the latch. 

4. Finally remove the last screw located at the top right hand corner.

5. Make sure to place screw in a safe place as they will be needed to install the Roush center console piece. 

6. Once all three (3) screws have been removed, gently pull the latch away from the center console. Once latch has been removed slide the factory chrome piece away from latch. 

7. Take the opportunity to clean the latch before installing Roush equipment with clean paper towel. Use alcohol pad if available. 

8. Gently slide new Roush console piece into place 

9. Reassemble latch to center console using three (3) screws removed during steps 2, 3 and 4.

10. Once the latch has been reattached, slowly close center console to check if mechanism works correctly. Use new push button to open center console. Open and close console 2 to 3 more times to ensure proper installment.
