not sure if its worth it

sigh, i guess i shouldve read the description a little better... it is just a rubber foam insert, my fault for not knowing what i realized ordered...it is smaller than i thought, only covers up about a 1/4 of the vent opening and i hope it doesnt fall out.. it has rained here the past night and this morning, so far no signs of water getting on the CAI filter that ive installed, thats good news...bad news is it was 19.99...dont think it is worth that at all...other than that, i suppose if you are worried about keeping the CAI filter dry it works...

    It works..

This product works as stated it blocks the water from getting on the air filter. As for price little on the high side.

    Works as advertised

As said in the title, the insert does it's job. Since putting it in I have not seen any water close to the intake. Don't be fooled by the pictures though, this simply a small piece of foam cut to fit the form of the heat extractor. That said, I think based on its construction it could be a bit cheaper, but I have no worries about water reaching my intake. It's not anything fancy, but again does what it's designed to do. I would much rather pay for this then have the airraid rainshield covering my intake.

does what its intended to do

Put this in right before I washed my car. kinda skeptical at first so I covered my CAI and put a paper towel on top of the cover to see how well this product would work. Only 1 drop of water made it to the paper towel, and that could have been from opening the hood to get the cover and paper towel out. Definitely recommend
