All you have to do is raise your hood a few inches up and allow the hood lift system do the rest from there. You do not have to worry about wind or bumping knocking you down because these pairs of hood struts utilize gas technology to keep your hood in a locked position. Their 90lbs rating gives them the ability to hold up OEM and specialty hoods. What’s more, the struts have a beautiful finish that gives your engine compartment an attractive look.

      Sturdy Steel And Aluminum Construction. The two gas struts in Roush Hood Strut Kit are made from a combination of steel and aluminum. These two components give it the strength to withstand the weight of the hood of your Mustang without giving in or bending out of shape.

      Bolt Installation Process. Roush Hood Strut Kit comes complete with all the necessary components intact. The steel brackets are designed to fit into the existing mounting holes of the hood and as such, do not require any drilling or custom modification. The struts can also fit the factory bolt locations with no modification. The process should be fast with the right set of tools.
