Quicker, More Positive Shifts. The Roush 5-Speed Short Shifter reduces shifting travel by 55% to provide quicker, more positive shifts and gets rid of that sloppy feeling that many stock factory shifters have.

Quality Construction. CNC machined in ROUSH's machining facility right here the U.S.A. The Roush Shifter is crafted from a solid block of 6061-T6 machined billet aluminum and features a permanently lubricated shifter bearing with front and rear bushings made from polyurethane for superior durability.

Specifications. This Roush Performance 5-Speed Short Shifter is designed to fit the 2005 through 2009 GT Mustangs with the TR-3650 Transmission. The kit includes shifter body and shifter arm and reuses the stock factory shift knob. Aftermarket shift knobs requires a 12mm x 1.25 thread pattern.

The product itself is really 5 stars, and is very nice. I love how much it reduced the travel. The only thing I didn't care for was the packaging. It arrived in a box that was torn part way open and my Roush stickers were on the ground by my front door. Bottom line is that the shifter wasn't wrapped very well inside and was able to bounce around and tare a hole in the box. It doesn't seem to have done anything to the product, but come on??? For $300. I would expect it be better packaged. The high cost is also whey I only gave it 4 stars.All of that aside, I would highly recommend this project.Steve

Well, let's all be honest, AM is the BEST mustang site on the web! Any questions you have send them an email and get a response in like an hour! That's customer service!
