Description
Better Flow. The perfect complement to SLP's "Loud Mouth" or "PowerFlo" axle-back systems is their PowerFlo-X Crossover Pipe for an unrestricted free-flowing exhaust to provide a significant horsepower increase over the restrictive stock factory catted mid-pipe.

Modular Design. SLP features an exclusive three-piece "modular" design for unparalleled versatility and an easy installation. The pipes are constructed from high quality stainless steel that is mandrel-bent for perfectly smooth bends that will not adversely effect exhaust flow.

Application. This SLP catted X-Pipe is specifically designed for use on the 4.6L 2010 GT Mustang.

Bolt toFRPP Shorty Headers? I just finished installing my FRPP shorty headers, my question, will there be any issues bolting the mid pipe and cats up to both the FRPP Shorty headers and my previously installed Magnaflow Catbacks?

  • It will fit in there perfectly. Should bolt together with no issues. Good choice.

    Great sound

As usual the order was processed quickly and arrived within a week. Instructions that come with box are pretty basic and lack pictures. Removing the stock H-pipe and the O-2 sensors was the most difficult part. I used a jack and stands to lift the front while the back end sat on ramps. This provided good clearance and made the install a little easier. O-2 extension wires did not match up perfectly with existing wires but with a small blade you can shave the clips to fit easily. Otherwise, this is a great product and it sounds much better than the stock pipes.

    SLP catted x-pipe

Nice growl. It definitely improves the sound of the stock exhaust. Install was not too bad, I used jack stands for front end after backing up onto some ramps. This game me plenty of clearance. I had no problems and had a new bamatune put on it.
