If you have a supercharger or a turbo and need a clutch that can take the heat, but don't want to lose too much driveability, you need a SPEC Stage 3 Clutch. Specially designed for heavily modified street and race engines, the SPEC Stage 3 balances the ability to hold lots of torque and deliver quick, precise engagement.



Race Ready. The SPEC Stage 3 Clutches are designed to be the ultimate street and strip clutch. A Stage 3 is designed first and foremost to handle all the power you're putting down with the kind of quick engagement you need to win. Combining elements of a race clutch with a street clutch means a Stage 3 will hold up to many passes on the strip while still allowing you to let your high performance Pony stretch its legs on the street.



Premium Quality. The sprung hub, 6-puck design of the SPEC Stage 3 features a carbon semi-metallic friction material for unsurpassed bite and quick shifts. The Stage 3 Clutch includes the high clamp pressure plate, the 6 puck friction disc, a new throwout bearing and an alignment tool.

Good price, great clutch

Installed with a SPEC aluminum flywheel, firewall adjuster and quadrant. After the 500 mile break in period, the clutch grips well. You have to drag the clutch a little for a smooth start at slow speeds.

    I\'ve layed down 400 ft lb tq to this clutch for about a year now and it shows no signs of wear. Has stock feel, just a little stiffer, and some mild chatter when taking off with LOW rpm. Rev it up to go and it engages just like stock. I am pleased with this clutch.

    Good price, great clutch

    Installed with a SPEC aluminum flywheel, firewall adjuster and quadrant. After the 500 mile break in period, the clutch grips well. You have to drag the clutch a little for a smooth start at slow speeds. It makes moderate noise (noticeable inside and outside the vehicle, sounds similar to the brakes). Clutch pedal feels a little heavier than stock. Weight between the aluminum flywheel and the clutch is about the same as stock.

    Very nice

    Bought this clutch for my 03 Cobra. Lots of chatter when taking off from a stop during the initial break-in period, but has been dramatically reduced as time goes by. Way better pedal feel than stock and is so smooth in shifts! Would recommend this to anyone and assure them its a great product for an amazing price!!!

    LOVE this clutch! Almost 2 years on my supercharged GT and it holds up great! Lots of abuse and still drives like day 1. Be prepared though, it's VERY stiff

    great product.

    great grabs. would definatly get the flywheel to go with it. installation was not to bad; having access to a lift that is also a plus. would highly reccomend this to anyone that needs a better grabbing clutch.

    Spec 3 Clutch

    The clutch fells like a stock clutch and it chatters a little. It grabs every bit of 550 ft lbs of torque though.
