How to Install a SR Performance Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arms on your 2005-2014Mustang

Installation Instructions
1. Lift rear of Mustang
2. Put jack stands under rear axle
3. Remove both rear wheels
4. Unhook the right brake cable were it attaches on the caliper, using a small, regular screwdriver
5. Slide the brake cable out of the control arm
6. Remove both control arm bolts (18mm) to remove the right control arm
7. Adjust the new control arms so they are the same length as the control arm you removed
8. Apply lubricant to the face of the polyurethane
9. With the wide end to the rear, and the grease zerk facing down, reinstall the bolts and tighten to 129 lb-ft
10. Use a pry-bar to rotate the brake lever in order to re-install the right brake cable
11. Use a heavy duty zip tie to secure brake cable to control arm
12. Unhook the left brake cable were it attaches on the caliper, using a small, regular screwdriver
13. Slide the brake cable out of the control arm
14. Remove both control arm bolts (18mm) to Remove the left control arm
15. Apply lubricant to the face of the polyurethane
16. With the wide end to the rear, reinstall the bolts and tighten to 129 lb-ft
17. Use a pry-bar to rotate the brake lever in order to re-install the left brake cable
18. Use a heavy duty zip tie to secure brake cable to control arm
19. (If equipped with grease zerks) Using a grease gun, apply one full pump of silicone-based grease made for polyurethane to each zerk. Add one more pump of grease after three hundred miles and every four thousand miles thereafter. Overfilling could lead to premature poly wear.
20. If adjusting pinion angle, take measurements and make adjustments now. Apply blue Loctite and tighten jam nuts.
21. Double check everything, re-install wheels, lower vehicle, and enjoy improved performance!
