How to Install a SR Performance Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm on your 2005-2010 Mustang

Installation Instructions
1. Remove the lower portion of the rear seat by pressing back on the seat while pressing on the release clips under the front edge of the seat
2. Remove the control arm bolt (18mm)
3. Lift rear of Mustang and place jack stands securely under the frame. Do not place the stands on the axle.
4. Place jack under the rear end for support
5. Remove the control arm bolt (18mm) near the rear end. The jack will help to support the rear end at this point.
6. Remove the other two control arm bolts (18mm)
7. Support the fuel tank and loosen the strap bolts (13mm or Torx Plus IP50 FTX50TPE)
8. Lower tank so you can remove the upper mount and control arm
9. Remove control arm from mount (18mm)
10. Install new control arm in factory mount with gusset up. Hand tighten
11. Install mount in car and tighten to 85 lb-fit
12. Tighten bolt that was located under rear seat to 129 lb-ft
13. Install rear seat
14. Tighten fuel tank straps to 38 lb-ft
15. Rotate rear end until you can insert bolt in mounting hole. Only tighten bolt finger tight.
16. Lift rear to ride height
17. Tighten all control arm mounting bolts to 129 lb-ft
18. If adjusting pinion angle, take measurements and make adjustments now. Apply blue Loctite and tighten jam nuts.
19. Double check everything, lower vehicle, and enjoy improved performance!
