Now what you can expect from this bar is strong tubular steel construction wrapped in a dark charcoal vinyl material, which besides being weather resistant, really matches that OEM interior perfectly. Now besides matching your car’s interior very well this bar also fits perfectly on your ride, even with the top up. Getting the bar installed should only take you a couple of hours, just because you have to slightly disassemble your rear interior. While it’s nothing more than popping out a couple of tabs or moving a couple of 10mm bolts, you will need to drill a 2” hole through this upper trim panel, just so the styling bar can go through it, so make sure to have a 2” hole saw on hand before you get started, and be sure to take your time. I have seen many ‘vert owners on this site pair this styling bar up with MMD’s wind deflector for a very functional and stylish package.
