How to Install an SR Performance Intake on your 1986-1993 5.0L Mustang

Step 1. Remove your factory intake and MAF sensor from your vehicle. The MAF sensor housing will need to be reused in the new intake assembly.

Step 2. Install the shallow tubing elbow onto the throttle body, leaving it loose for adjustments

Step 3. Install the MAF onto the intake tubing using factory mounting hardware.

Step 4. Install the heat shield onto the fender wall and secure it using factory hardware.

Step 5. Slide the lower intake tube onto the MAF and then position it into the heat shield. Once it is secure, install the filter onto the tube and tighten all couplers down.
