How to Install SR Performance Muffler Delete Axle-Back Exhaust - Black on your Mustang

(1) Muffler Delete (L&R)
(2) Exhaust clamps
Step 1: Raise and support the car so that you can access the mufflers. You will need to cut the mufflers at the sway bar bracket. Imagine a straight line from the outside of the sway bar bracket to the ground, cut along that line. Then remove the muffler bracket by removing the (2) 13mm bolts.
Step 2: Assemble the muffler delete using the factory muffler bracket and the supplied exhaust clamp.
Step 3: Install the muffler delete, slide the delete on to the exhaust. Do not tighten the clamp yet. See Step 5.
Step 4: Mount the muffler bracket to the chassis using the factory hardware.
Step 5: Center the tip in the bumper by sliding the muffler delete back and forth on the exhaust. **Note: Additional trimming of the exhaust pipe may be necessary Tighten the exhaust clamp once the tip is where you want it.
