Description
Improves Handling. Improve the handling performance of your SN95/New Edge Mustang with a SR Performance Sway Bar Kit. Sway Bars, sometimes referred to as Anti Roll Kits, reduce body roll through increased design stiffness over the stock factory bars. The result is superior handling, flatter cornering and better stability in any driving situation.

Superior Quality and Materials. SR Performance manufactures their Sway Bars from cold-formed, high-strength aircraft-grade steel for precision performance, and completes them in a black powder coat finish for great looks and long life. The front bar is a 35mm diameter tubular design, where the rear bar is 24mm diameter solid design.

Application. This SR Performance Sway Bar Kit is designed for use on the 1994 to 2004 coupe and convertible Mustangs, including the V6, GT, Bullitt, Mach 1 and 1994-1998 SVT Cobra models. Does not fit 1999-2004 IRS equipped SVT Cobra.

  • It is pretty much the same kit. They both use the same diameter bars and same type of bushings. I have this kit on my car now and have not had any issues with it. Even after getting in a head on collision, still in perfect working condition.

    Great "under the radar" buy!!

    I've been looking at upgrading from the stock sway bars for a while now, but i couldn't find the front+rear set of Steeda's for a decent price, nor did i want those off-red Eibach's... I saw these the first week they were introduced onto the AM website and loved them right off the bat. They're the same size as the Eibach's, but they're black, so no sticking out like a sore thumb, AND they're much more affordable! Installation was simple and straight forward. After installation I took the car up n down my local mountain road, and WOW what a difference!! I had already done upper+lower rear control armsand Ford Racing B-Springs but was still having issues in the corners, as the front end just wouldn't hold, forcing me to over-steer on entry to whip the back end through the turn to keep my speed. But with the SR Performance sway bars I now have the front end grip I was looking for, it now handles like everyone assumes high performance cars do. (like in Forza/Gran Turismo) Yes, I can now take video game corners, haha! Excellent product/Price/install instructions. I highly recommend this kit over the competition.

    WOW, what a difference in my 2002 V6

    Hello all, I ordered the performance sway bar kit to help with cornering. I have a 2002 V6 convertible and on Sundays I follow some friends around finding the roads that are not traveled much. I follow another Mustang GT convertible and a Corvette convertible. I noticed my mustang roll some in the corners, and after doing a lot of reading on this site, I found out the V6 does not even come with a rear sway bar! WHAT... so I got this kit after reading some of the reviews and its exactly correct what they say. the installation kit has everything you need... except.. the rear mounting bolts are TOO SHORT. you will need to get some longer bolts. be sure to get grade 8 bolts, nuts, lock washers. other then that, everything lined up and fit as advertised. the hardest thing was compressing the new end-links on the front sway bar. its a real pain, not enough hands to pull, hold in place, and get the nut started. it took 3 people to get it done. the entire job took a half day (that included getting new bolts). I would recommend spraying all the original nuts with penetrating oil a day before starting, this really makes the job much easier. the results, OMG!!! the car does not even think about swaying at all.. I am super impressed how much of a difference they made. I may not be able to keep up with the V8's however the corners are not slowing me down like before.

    Very satisfied

    I have a 2004 convertible GT that is mostly stock and is my daily driver. I want to keep the car as a good comfortable daily driver but make it more sporty and fun at the same time. The modification was perfect for me for several reasons. It definitely helps with keeping the car level through the turns. It does not affect how rough the ride would be if I had lowered the car or put tighter shocks on though. Steering response is more crisp now and the car feels like it pushes into corners less. The install was very straight forward. The product looks simple, black, but great. I don't think it would be worth it to put on the eibachs just to have red sway bars of the same dimensions and material. Thanks a lot American Muscle.

    Great improvement over stock

    I was skeptical of the other reviews and how remarkable the difference would be. I was very pleased with the improvement in cornering... Much stiffer bar leads to way less body roll. I have an '02 GT conv. with Eibach lowering springs and staggered 18x9 and 18x10 (with 1 inch spacers) wheels... The sway bars really complement the wheel, tire and spring handling upgrades. The rear install was simple, but I did get longer grade 8 bolts as suggested by other reviewers. The front install was not very easy working on my own... another 1/4 to 1/2 inch longer bolts would have made this install a breeze, but other than that everything fits great!

    watertight better handling

    I was kind of disappointed in the sway bar links the rubbers squatted out way too much when torque to spec. I will be buying the poly sway bar bushings

    EIBACH, SCHMEIBACH

    I LOVE THESE SWAY BARS! THEY ARE THE SAME SPECS AS THE EIBACH BUT FOR WAY CHEAPER! THE FRONT BAR IS HUGE COMPARED TO THE STOCKER. INSTALLATION WAS PRETTY EASY. IT WOULD HAVE GONE FASTER HAD I REMOVED THE FRONT WHEELS BEFORE I TRIED TO REMOVE THE STOCK SWAY BAR. ALSO, I REUSED THE STOCK BOLTS WITH THE NEW BUSHINGS. IF YOU WANT THE SAME HANDLING AS EIBACH BUT FOR CHEAPER, GO WITH THESE FROM SR.

    WOW Awesome product

    I bought tires to go with this sway bar kit general tire as-03 g-max UHP-AS my pony was a pig with 1 sway bar handling was horrible now I love it thanks AM HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THIS sway bar kit to any v6 owner took me an afternoon and about a hour the next day to get them on. So much fun in the turns can't wait to put lowering springs and caster camber plates and shocks and struts and strut tower and shock tower brace thanks American Muscle

    Great buy

    I got these sway bars and wow what an improvement. I am running on stock suspension (New shocks but stock spec). It's literally night and day going around corners with these sway bars. There is barely any body roll any more and you feel much more confident hitting corners at higher speeds. With some lowering springs and caster camber plates to get rid of the "floaty" feeling I'll be done with suspension upgrades. This sway bar kit is a great buy and was shipped fast.
