Steeda Adjustable Clutch Cable (96-04 V8)

Steeda's new adjustable clutch cable part number 172-0201 is designed specifically to be a direct bolt-on for the 1996 to 2004 4.6L and 5.4L Mustangs. Most adjustable cables up until now were designed for the older "fox body" Mustang. While they would work on the newer cars, some extra work was required to complete the installation. Steeda's new cable has the correct mounting bracket and length for a perfect no-hassle fit on 1996 through 2004 Mustang GT, Bullitt, and Cobra. Like all Steeda clutch cables, this cable features a stainless steel inner cable and low friction lining, along with a high-durometer bushing at the firewall for improved clutch response and cable life. Clutch engagement height can be adjusted by turning a nut at the end of the cable when the cable is used in combination with Steeda’s aluminum quadrant.

• The Steeda adjustable clutch cable requires the use of an after-market solid clutch quadrant.
