Reduce Body Flex. The Steeda Frame Rail & Torque Box Brace is designed to stiffen the chassis and improve the handling of the new 2005-2009 coupe Mustangs. This Torque Box Brace greatly reduces the body flex that can be felt when driving your S197 Mustang and as an added benefit improves the overall handling of the car.
Quality Fit and Finish. Steeda Engineers crafted the Frame Rail & Torque Box Brace from 4130 Chromoly steel for superior strength. The design ties together the inner and outer frame rails and the rear lower control arm mount to greatly reduce body flex and improve handling. The Frame Rail & Torque Box Brace is finished in a durable silver powdercoating for long life and good looks.
Bolt-on Design. Steeda designed the Frame Rail & Torque Box Brace to be a simple bolt-on with the supplied hardware, but a welded installation is recommended for the serious driver to maximize the benefits of this brace.
